FORT COLLINS — Mike Bobo stressed to his team to get rested, to take advantage of the time off, because upon the return of the Colorado State football team to the practice field this week, an eight-week march through Mountain West play and the ultimate goal the Rams have established takes shape.

Through four non-conference games, Bobo's Colorado State team is 2-2, a mix of promise and issues to fix.

The mental strength the Rams will need to carry them through the conference slate is what they've shown their coach so far, and that's a good start.
