Colorado State football preparing the next wave

FORT COLLINS — None of them are expected to know exactly what they are doing, not less than two full weeks into fall camp. They can show effort, and if the newest members of the Colorado State roster can do that — especially this week — there's a chance to play.

The Rams used 13 players in 2016 who were in their first season with the program, accounting for 129 games played with 30 starts. Five of them appeared in all 13 games, two of them true freshmen (with two more appearing in 12).
