Colorado State football picks up verbal from junior college defensive end

Colorado State is back up to 20 verbal commitments as of Monday, as Copiah-Lincoln Community College defensive end Damion Dickens posted on Twitter he has committed to the Rams.

The 6-foot-2, 225-pounder out of Wesson, Miss., is rated a three-star prospect by Scout.com and is ranked the 79th best juco prospect. Expected to graduate in December, he will have three years remaining to play two.

He is the third defensive end to give a verbal commitment to the program now that Nahe Sulunga decommitted after making a trip to Arizona. In seven games this season, he had 30 tackles, three sacks and 10 tackles for loss.
