FORT COLLINS — Most weeks, Mike Bobo would be right.
The Mountain West is played at altitude for the most part, and kickoff returns aren't normally a big part of the game.
Balls fly, and kickers and punters alike use it to their advantage.
"I mean, kids get such great hang time on their kickoffs and they're usually too deep, then on the punts the hang time that allows guys to cover," Bobo explained. "It's hard to manufacture some return yards because the specialists are doing such a good job of what they do in kicking the ball, as far as hang time and direction.
