Colorado State football defensive staff now a blank slate

FORT COLLINS — Players are not going to be the only additions to the Colorado State football program for the 2018 season.

It was already known defensive coordinator Marty English announced his retirement, and offensive coordinator and line coach Will Friend and cornerbacks coach Terry Fair had exited for jobs at Tennessee.

Wednesday, head coach Mike Bobo said defensive line coach Ricky Logo and safeties coach and special teams coordinator Jamie Bryant had been let go after the 31-28 loss to Marshall in the New Mexico Bowl.

"They did an outstanding job for us, but hiring a new coordinator and moving forward, I want to give the guy the opportunity with me to help build a staff and make sure we have the right guys in place moving forward," Bobo said.
