Colorado State football can't protect Border

Michael Brian / Loveland Reporter-Herald)

FORT COLLINS — A spark?

No, a dud.

The Border War became a battle of quarterback changes. CSU head coach Mike Bobo made his announcement of Collin Hill on Monday, citing the team needed a spark. The Rams (3-6, 2-3 Mountain West) didn't get one, getting run over by the Cowboys' defense on Friday night at Canvas Stadium in a 34-21 loss. It's the third consecutive year Wyoming (3-6, 1-4) has carried the Bronze Boot back to Laramie, and it's the eighth rivalry game in a row the Rams have lost under Bobo.
