Colorado State basketball will host Southern Illinois on Tuesday, Nov. 27 as part of the 2018 Mountain West-Missouri Valley Challenge, the leagues announced Thursday.
The matchup is one of three confirmed non-conference games for the Rams, along with Arkansas and New Mexico State. All three of those will be at Moby Arena.
SUI is 2-1 all-time against CSU. The two teams split a home-and-home series in 2001 and 2002.
New CSU head coach Niko Medved is familiar with the Salukis having gone 1-1 against SIU this past season as the head coach at Drake.
