FORT COLLINS — The Rams needed this one. Badly.
Colorado State's entered Saturday's in-state rivalry against Colorado having lost four of its past five. And frankly, CSU looked overmatched in most of not all of those losses.
But all is good in Ram Country after the Rams handed the Buffs their first loss of the season, a 72-63 victory at Moby Arena.
It was Colorado State's first victory over CU at home since 2011 and came at the perfect time for the Rams (4-4) as they're in the midst of their most difficult non-conference schedule in a long time.
