Colorado State basketball drilled by Tulane in Jamaica

Turnovers, missed layups, air balls.

Colorado State couldn't do anything right offensively the first 14 minutes, and it cost the Rams dearly in an 80-53 loss to Tulane in Montego Bay, Jamaica on Friday.

It was the first NCAA basketball game ever played in the Caribbean island, part of the inaugural Jamaica Classic.

CSU made just 1 of its first 17 attempts from the field and trailed 20-2 less than 12 minutes in. The Green Wave (3-0) never looked back, leading by 23 at halftime (37-14) and by as much as 28 in the second half to hand coach Larry Eustachy's team its first loss this season.
