Cameron Oliver leads Nevada over Colorado State to claim MW title

RENO, Nev — What a run.

Picked seventh in the preseason, playing with just seven players for a majority of league play, nothing it seemed could stop these Rams.

But in the end, Colorado State came up just short of its first league title in nearly three decades.

Led by a dominant 29-point, 17-rebound performance by Cameron Oliver in front of sold-out crowd of 11,543, the Nevada Wolf Pack overcame an early double-digit deficit to beat the Rams 85-72 and claim the outright Mountain West regular-season championship Saturday at the Lawlor Events Center.
