Wyatt Bryan earns Mountain West recognition
CSU kicker Wyatt Bryan earned Mountain West Special Teams Player of the Week honors for his performance in the Rams’ 23-20 overtime loss to Minnesota.
Bryan’s shaky outing in the season opener – he missed an extra point attempt and a 42-yard field goal attempt – raised questions about the team’s kicking situation, but he more than redeemed himself against the Golden Gophers.
After being iced twice by Minnesota head coach Jerry Kill, the freshman kicker calmly nailed a 37-yard field goal attempt to send the game into overtime.
