What went right — The Rams had a lead early in the second quarter and seemed to have found a way to move the ball against Utah State. It just didn't last after that 10-point burst.

What went wrong — Two more turnovers meant the Rams lost the turnover battle for the fourth time this season, and the Rams gave up more than 150 yards on the ground to USU QB Kent Myers.

Who played well — Stevens gave the Rams hope, throwing for one touchdown and rushing for another and throwing for 255 yards against a consistent rush he had to sidestep.
