Rockies prospect Brian Mundell (no. 13 PuRP) logged three hits including a triple and double on Monday for the Yard Goats. Mundell was a home run shy of a cycle. These were Mundell’s first extra-base hits since July 6th.
At High-A Lancaster, Tyler Nevin (no. 12 PuRP) and Vince Fernandez (no. 28 PuRP) both had multiple hit performances and scored or knocked in four of Lancaster’s six runs in a 7-6 loss.
