It’s no secret that the Colorado Rockies’ offense has played a large role in the team’s struggles out of the gate in 2019. Luke Zahlmann points out some particular instances where the club has failed to capitalize in key situations.
One such instance was Friday night’s 18-inning affair with the San Francisco Giants in which the Rox went down by a score of 3-2. I personally have some sympathy for the play at home plate by catcher Chris Iannetta that allowed the Giants to achieve a walk-off victory.
