The Rockies took a chance on their young prospects in the 2019 season. Ryan McMahon has shown that he has earned an everyday spot with the team. Overall, the season has been rough, but the young infielder has shown that he can deliver for his team. McMahon recognizes that he has to work hard to keep his spot on the team. He certainly has worked hard, improving over the season as the team has struggled. He’s learned how to face big league pitchers, recognizing their throws and figuring out how to get hits. McMahon has taken advantage of the veteran players he’s near, learning from Charlie Blackmon and others.
