Before tonight’s game (that was supposed to be started by Yohan Flande), the New Britain Rock Cats are deserving of some praise. The brand new Rockies affiliate is the best team in the Eastern League by four games over 20-11 Altoona, hasn’t lost since April 29th, and could possibly make a case for the best overall offense in the entire Minor Leagues. With Trevor Story, Tom Murphy, Tyler Massey, David Dahl, and Mike Tauchman splitting run producing duties every night (Story and Murphy taking the brunt), the Rock Cats can’t seem to stop scoring runs.
