Col. Springs 8, Albuquerque 2
W: Wooten (5-2, 5.03); L: Kahnle (1-3, 5.09)
The Colorado Springs Sky Sox (57-76) rallied with a four-run eighth inning Friday night at Isotopes Park to beat the Albuquerque Isotopes (58-76) 8-2. Outfielder Roger Bernadina was 1-for-3 with a double, an RBI and a run scored on the evening.
I'm still not used to the idea of rooting against a Sky Sox victory, particularly one in a game started by Josh Roenicke. Eddie Butler walked five but managed to keep Colorado Springs off the board, allowing just four hits in 6 1/3 innings by getting 13 groundouts all without recording a strikeout.
