These are difficult, polarizing times. The coronavirus pandemic has brought out the best in us. And the worst.
In recent days, I’ve received a lot of nasty emails and Twitter rants in the wake of my Q&A with Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado and my story about Gov. Jared Polis’ desire for baseball’s swift return. Greedy, entitled, fascist — along with multiple expletives deleted — were common words and themes.
Sigh.
Then an email from Jerry Schemmel popped into my inbox, reminding me about his weekly radio series, “Amazing Americans.
