Roy Halladay dies at 40: The world of baseball reacts on Twitter

Former Arvada West High School and Major League Baseball star pitcher Roy Halladay died in a small-plane crash off the Florida Coast Wednesday. He was 40.

Halladay played 16 years in the majors, finishing with a record of 203-105, a 3.38 ERA and 2,117 strikeouts. An eight-time all-star, he was also a two-time Cy Young Award winner (2003 with the Blue Jays and 2010 with the Phillies).
