As the season progresses, more and more contending teams are suffering from thinning rosters due to injury. Also as the season progresses, it is becoming more and more clear that the Rockies are not among those contending teams, despite the time they spent hovering around .500. But the non-contending Rockies might have what those contending teams need either because of ill health or ineffectiveness
