Todd Helton’s road to Cooperstown looks wide open.
While the Rockies’ icon might not be elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame this year, he’s trending strongly toward future selection if he falls short this month.
“I think getting 75% of the vote this year still looks unlikely,” said Ryan Thibodaux, creator of the Baseball Hall of Fame Vote Tracker. “But Todd’s off to a fantastic start … so you never know.”
