ATLANTA — The Rockies reinstated reliever Scott Oberg from the disabled list ahead of Friday’s game against the Braves, and optioned southpaw Harrison Musgrave to Triple-A Albuquerque.
The right-hander and his wife, Diana Fillpek, welcomed a baby girl into the world at 5:45 p.m. on Monday in Voorhees, New Jersey. Charlotte Rose Oberg weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces and is 21 ¾ inches tall.
Oberg is 7-0 with a 3.12 ERA in 34-plus innings out of the bullpen this season.
“My perspective has definitely changed a little bit,” the first-time father said. “Moving forward, I see things a little bit different.
