Rockies prospect Will Gaddis rights the ship against the RiverDogs

Will Gaddis came up big for the Tourists on Tuesday, pitching six innings of one-run ball, giving up only three hits, walking two, and striking out four RiverDogs. Selected in the third round of last year’s amateur draft, Gaddis has had an up-and-down season in his first year graduated from Rookie ball in Grand Junction. Hopefully, yesterday’s strong performance over Erie will mark a big step forward for Will in his development and we can see more dominant performances from him moving forward.

Otherwise, It was another quiet night on the farm for the Rockies. Colton Welker had two more hits, including an RBI double, Brendan Rodgers hit a double for the Yard Goats, and a day after hitting his 2nd home run, Ryan Vilade went 0-for-5 with a couple strikeouts in what has been a disappointing season for the Rockies young prospect.
