Rockies prospect Sean Bouchard was a single away from the cycle in Tourists’ win

On Sunday, Rockies affiliates had a very productive day, sweeping their opponents and outscoring them 44-19. The Asheville Tourists outscored the Greensboro Grasshoppers 13-6 and right fielder Sean Bouchard (ninth round, 2017) accounted for three of those runs with a two run homer, a triple, and an RBI double. He was a single shy of the cycle. Shortstop Ryan Vilade (no. 7 PuRP) helped the cause, batting in two runs of his own and stealing his 12th and 13th bases of the year.

In Albuquerque, every starting position player recorded at least one hit in the Isotopes’ rout of the Las Vegas 51s.
