Rockies prospect Ryan Rolison overpowers his opponents in Grand Junction once again

Ryan Rolison pitched another gem for Grand Junction, tossing four innings and giving up only two hits, one walk, and one run while striking out six batters. In four starts and 13.0 IP with Grand Junction so far, Rolison has a 2.77 ERA, given up nine hits, and only three walks to seventeen strikeouts. It’s everything you’d hope for from your number one pick in last year’s draft, and Ryan might not be spending his time in Rookie ball for much longer.

On the offensive side of the ball, Grant Lavigne continued to hit by going 2-for-3 with two runs and an RBI, and 6th round pick Niko Decolati hit a two-run bomb to power Grand Junction to victory.
