Rockies prospect Ryan Rolison grounds the Owlz in another no-hit performance

With another Tuesday in the books, another filthy outing from Ryan Rolison has the Rockies’ first-round pick primed for a breakout year in 2019. Pitching under a continued innings limit due to his workload at Ole Miss this year—but with a playoff hunt on the line for Grand Junction—Ryan tossed three no-hit innings against the Orem Owlz, walked one batter, and struck out two. He only needed 28 pitches to get through the third, had five groundouts to one fly out, and also picked off a runner at first.

Rolison has been a mix of both dominant and efficient this year.
