Rockies prospect Garrett Hampson records two hits in Isotopes’ loss

In a quiet night for Rockies affiliates, Albuquerque Isotopes second baseman Garrett Hampson (no. 5 PuRP) recorded two hits and a double as they lost to the Fresno Grizzlies. Hampson is now hitting .368 with a home run in his last nine games since returning to Albuquerque, and has recorded at least one hit in each of those nine games. DH Matt Holliday hit his second home run of the season, driving in Hampson on a two run shot in the sixth inning.

First baseman Tyler Nevin (no. 12 PuRP) recorded two hits and a double in the JetHawks’ loss to Rancho Cucamonga.
