Rockies prospect Brian Mundell is starting to show more power

In a week that didn’t feature a ton of action down on the farm, Brian Mundell (no. 29 PuRP) had arguably the best week in Albuquerque. He went 7-for-18 (.389) with two home runs. So far in the second half, he is hitting .326 with the two homers from this week. He also has five doubles and a triple. Mundell has always hit right around .300, with his worst season coming last year when he hit .263/.345/.372 in 128 games in a repeat of Hartford. So far, he is playing much better in hitter-friendly Albuquerque, slashing .337/.404/.543 on the season.
