Hartford Yard Goats second baseman Bret Boswell (no. 28 PuRP) was activated off of the Injured List on June 20 and came back swinging — literally. In his first game back, he went 0-for-3 with three strikeouts, but then went 4-for-10 with three home runs in his next three games. His other hit was a single. The 2017 eighth rounder made the Opening Day roster for the Yard Goats in his first season in Hartford and so far has struggled, but maybe this is the start of a turnaround for the 24-year-old infielder.
