Rockies promote Walker Monfort to executive vice president

Change, albeit internal, has come to the Rockies’ front office as the team struggles through its worst season in franchise history.

The club announced Thursday morning that Walker Monfort, the oldest son of team owner and CEO Dick Monfort, has been promoted to executive vice president. Team president and chief operating officer Greg Feasel will retire at the end of 2025.

Feasel, who’s been a member of the front office since 1995 and president since April 2021, will work with Walker through the end of the year before Walker officially assumes his new role in January 2026.
