It appears Charlie Blackmon has found a new fishing buddy.
The Rockies outfielder appeared in social media posts catching a massive marlin in the waters off Cabo San Lucas with recently crowned National League Rookie of the Year Pete Alonso of the New York Mets.
They smiled. They shared awkward double high-fives. And the New York Mets Twitter handle trolled the Rockies.
Now we’re left to wonder: What does it all mean?
