The Rockies’ reeling rotation took another hit Sunday when the club placed rookie right-hander Noah Davis on the 15-day injured list with right elbow inflammation.
The severity of the injury is unknown at this point.
Colorado called up right-handed reliever Nick Mears from Triple-A Albuquerque to fill Davis’ spot on the 26-man roster.
