My best friend from college lives in San Diego and is a lifelong Padres fan. As you might know, the Padres have never had a pitcher throw a no-hitter. He and I were discussing the other day whether the Rockies will win the NL West before a Padres pitcher throws a no-hitter. What do you say? My money is on a Padres pitcher throwing a no-hitter before the Rockies win a division title.
