Jim, I’m not sure if your question is legitimate or sarcastic, coming as it does after the Rockies just won three of four games from the Cardinals.
However, I’ll play it straight and tell you what I know. After the Feb. 1 trade to St. Louis, Arenado was asked about opting out of his Cardinals contract.
