Rockies Insider: Colorado shouldn’t have released Roberto Ramos, who is now raking in Korea

As Roberto Ramos tears up the Korea Baseball Organization, one has to wonder if the Rockies are kicking themselves for releasing the first baseman.

I certainly would be if I was in the Colorado front office. Yes, the KBO isn’t the majors, and it’s not quite as good as Japan’s Nippon Professional Baseball. But Ramos is making the pitching there look like child’s play. The 25-year-old, who signed with the LG Twins for a $300,000 salary, leads the KBO with 10 home runs through 24 games. He’s slashing .373/.447/.795 with a ridiculous 1.242 OPS.
