Rockies GM Jeff Bridich’s lackluster moves this offseason should come as no surprise

Rockies fans shouldn’t be surprised by the lack of roster activity this offseason down at 20th and Blake.

During the end-of-season news conference, general manager Jeff Bridich said he expected a bounce-back year from his pitching staff — the same group that reached the 2018 postseason — in 2020. And owner Dick Monfort said the franchise wouldn’t make any big moves during the offseason, with the new TV deal not kicking in until 2021.
