Rockies give up four homers, strike out 15 times in 9-3 loss to Phillies as early season slide continues

If it’s not one thing, it’s another. Or another.

With a fifth consecutive poor start by right-hander Jose Urena, an offense that’s sputtering like a ’70s Ford Pinto, and a seventh-inning meltdown by reliever Dinelson Lamet, the Rockies were drubbed, 9-3, by the Phillies on Sunday afternoon at Citizens Bank Park.
