Aaron Schunk, Colorado’s second-round pick in the 2019 MLB draft, was announced as the winner of the John Olerud Two-Way Player of the Year Award on Thursday.

Schunk, who signed with the Rockies earlier this week for the full No. 62 overall pick value of $1.1 million, starred at third baseman and closer for Georgia to win the honor presented annually to the best position player/pitcher in college baseball.

The 21-year-old batted .339 with 15 homers and 58 RBIs as a junior for the Bulldogs this season while also posting 12 saves and a 2.
