The Colorado Rockies have announced a roster move ahead of their matchup against the Giants in San Francisco.
Rookie infielder Brendan Rodgers has been placed on the 10-day injured list with a right shoulder impingement. The move is also retroactive back to June 24.
Rodgers talked about his shoulder and mentioned that it had been bothering him the past couple of days against the Dodgers.
“My shoulder’s been barking the last couple days, and I don’t feel like I’ve been getting the backspin I usually do,” Rodgers said. “My throws feel like they’re dying and not getting there.
