Rockies' bats silenced by Padres

In his second big league game (his first was July 25, 2015, for the Dodgers), Lee struck out just three, but he forced eight flyouts and mixed a fastball, slider, cutter and changeup effectively.

The Padres began with consecutive first-inning doubles by Manuel Margot and Wil Myers, followed by a Yangervis Solarte single off Rockies' starter Kyle Freeland. Two batters later, Ryan Schimpf parked his second homer of the season, a two-run shot, for a 4-0 lead. Freeland settled for the next three frames, but the Rockies' offense never produced.
