Three of the eight hits Hoffman allowed went for extra bases. Finally, just 67 of Hoffman's 115 pitches went for strikes. Hoffman's season ERA remained stable at 2.67. He's struck out over eight batters per nine innings and walked about three per nine. His command was off on Friday, and he was fairly hittable, but his pitch count indicates that his stamina is where it needs to be for his time in the majors.
