For just the sixth time this season, the Colorado Rockies have found a way to win a game on the road. All it took was a special performance from Germán Márquez, a pair of home runs from Trevor Story and one from Brendan Rodgers and a match up against one of baseball’s worst hitting teams. Simple stuff really.
Nevertheless, a road win is nice and it gives the Rockies that elusive sixth road win. They now have a 6-28 road record and sit at 31-44 overall and comfortably in fourth place in the NL West.
