Quack's back: Padres reliever Kevin Quackenbush was recalled Saturday, taking the roster spot vacated by James Shields, who was dealt to the White Sox earlier in the day. Manager Andy Green threw Quackenbush right into the fire, and the right-hander escaped a bases-loaded two-out jam in the sixth by getting Nolan Arenado to bounce to first.
