Rockies Nolan Arenado and Trevor Story are ranked second in the National League all-star vote at their respective positions, according to ballot updates released Wednesday.
Arenado trails Chicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant by about 180,000 votes. A three-time Gold Glove winner, Arenado is leading the NL in home runs (16) and runs batted in (43).
Story — who made major-league history by hitting a home run in each of his first four games — is behind Cubs’ Addison Russell in the shortstop race by just 10,000 votes. Story is hitting .260 with 14 homers and 36 RBIs.
