Arenado and Gonzalez became the Rockies' first winners of the award since Michael Cuddyer in 2013.
Colorado Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado added another piece of hardware to his already-impressive collection. Outfielder Carlos Gonzalez got back into the award game, too.
Arenado on Thursday was named the Silver Slugger award winner for National League third basemen, beating out the likes of Todd Frazier, Kris Bryant and Matt Carpenter. The third-year defensive wizard, who has also earned NL Gold Glove and Wilson Defensive Player of the Year awards at third base, now has an offensive award after his big season.
