Boone Logan being activated from the the disabled list on Monday served as the catalyst for the roster move. The 31-year-old southpaw has been by far and away the Rockies best bullpen option so far into the 2016 campaign against left-handed batters. That is before Logan hit the DL with shoulder inflammation. Here’s hoping he returns to his dominant form.
Logan hasn’t allowed an earned run in his last 10.2 innings of action, including 4.2 innings over seven spotless appearances in May.
In 14 innings pitched, Logan has allowed only three runs. We here at Rox Pile are good at math and that works out to a 1.
