Slugging first baseman Mark Reynolds, who hit 30 home runs for the Rockies in 2017, is returning to Colorado.
Reynolds, 35, confirmed Wednesday that he has signed a minor-league deal with an invitation to spring training. He played for the Washington Nationals last season after spending the 2016-17 seasons in Colorado.
Asked why he chose the Rockies, Reynolds said: “Why not? I love the team, love the city, love their World Series chances.”
