Rockies manager Bud Black has signed a one-year extension to his contract, The Denver Post has learned.
Black, 64, was entering the final year of his three-year deal before he and the Rockies agreed to the one-year extension earlier this month. The extension will keep him as the Colorado’s manager through the 2023 season.
This marks the second time the Rockies have extended Black’s contract. During spring training 2019, Black, who was entering the final year of his initial three-year deal, signed a three-year extension.
