Many of us were expecting to see a phenomenal Jon Gray in the 2018 season. While we occasionally saw some glimpses of this, overall, he was something of a disappointment, not even making the playoff roster. Fortunately for the Rockies, other starting pitchers, like Kyle Freeland and German Marquez were able to step up and deliver. Gray plans to use the offseason to build muscle and get his strength and control back. He hopes that the confidence gained from this strength will help with his mental game as well.
