For the second time in six days, Rockies rookie Peter Lambert beat the Chicago Cubs on their own turf.

Whether the ballpark is at Addison and Clark in Wrigleyville or 20th and Blake in Wrigleyville West, it doesn’t matter. Lambert is a Cubbies-killer.

Fly the W? Not here, in LoDo. Or there, on the North Side.

Hey, Chicago: Take that L on the way out.

In his second major-league start, Lambert beat the Cubs for the second time. This time, despite refugees from the Windy City attempting an unfriendly takeover of the Coors Field confines, this young right-hander went five strong innings and sent half the crowd of 43,126 back home to cry in their Old Style after a 10-3 loss to Colorado.
